Yeah, we know it sucks if you’re a pod vaper but the fact is that the FDA has banned the sale and distribution of flavored vape pods and that ban will be taking effect on February 1st, 2020. At Smoke Tokz Olathe Vape Shop, we understand that many of our customer have questions and the best one is probably “Why?” and unfortunately we can’t answer that.one. But what we do know is that we still have flavored pods for JUUL, Phix and other pod style vaping devices in stock and we will continue to sell them until we close on January 31st, 2020 or when we run out as we are not going to be ordering any more.
Vaporizer Shops in Olathe, Lenexa and Gardner, KS
The good news is that tobacco and menthol flavored vape pods will still be available and, so far as we know, disposable pods will still be available in a myriad of flavors unless we hear otherwise from the FDA. What is confusing about the flavored vape pod ban is that the point of it is supposed to curb teen vaping but not banning flavored disposable pods seems absurd as they are more often than not smaller and even easier to use than replaceable cartridges. We don’t encourage or support underage vaping and we ask for ID on the sale of everything we sell in our shop which means if you’re not 21, you can’t purchase anything from our vape shop.
To clarify, the FDA’s ban DOES NOT include traditional vape liquids for mod style or open tank vaping devices which means that you can still have a flavored vaping experience but you’ll have to adjust to mods. The good news is that our staff can teach you everything there is to know about mod vaping and our vape shop only stocks top of the line mod starter kits from vaping legends like SMOK, Aspire, VooPoo, Vaporesso, Sigelei, Snow Wolf and many more with new models being added every month. We will continue to monitor any news and updates the FDA provides on the flavored vape pod ban as they have stated that it is “temporary” but we’re unsure when or what would reverse the ban.
In the meantime, we recommend that you come by our vape shop and stock up before February 1st, 2020 because we will cease the sale of them if haven’t run out already. We’re open 7 days a week from 9 am to 9 pm and located on the northwest corner of 151st and Mur Len Road in Olathe and we’re always happy to answer any questions you have about the ban.
